Eye of the Tiger

This bead embroidered pendant was completed by Victoria for a bead swap with an accomplished beady friend. It used turquoise and tiger eye cabs. Do you notice the turquoise seed beads on either side of the top and lower cabs? The seed beads represent a matrix going thru turquoise. A simple netted rope is used to hang the pendant and has adjustable holes for the length.

Circular Rhythm

Dianne beaded this Laura McCabe necklace altering it slightly from the pattern. An interesting criss cross pattern necklace with circular peyote and rivolis.

Netted Black & Silver Bracelet

Christine used a netting technique to make this bracelet. The focal area shows a star burst of seed beads.

Floral Garden

Laura McCabe's designs are popular with Dianne who beaded this lovely creation. Bead tubes, polymer clay and pearls are featured in the necklace. The peyote bail has tiny flowers adorning it.

Delicate Flower

This is a Laura McCabe design beaded by Dianne. It features a peyote clasp/toggle, Ndebele chain and peyote flower. The flower is the top to a special box below for a hidden treasure.

Asian Spiral

This necklace was made by Christine featuring 2 Asian inspired focal beads. The necklace is partially strung with black beads and combines a spiral technique.

Carol Cady - May's Bead Star

Meet Carol Cady, the May's Bead Star
When did you begin beading and why? I began beading in 1968 due to my dear deceased sister's urging.
We learned French Flower Beading together. I miss my sister, Judy.

What is your favorite beading technique? My favorite beading technique is off-loom beading.

How many beaded UFO's (unfinished objects) do you think you have? I can't begin to say how many UFOs that I have. Too numerous to mention.

Who or what motivates you in your designs? I believe that my dear friends at Beadniks are my motivation and inspiration. The unending talent in this group of women is amazing!

If somebody wanted to buy you beads, what would you choose and why? I guess if someone wanted to buy me beads I would choose Toho Aiko beads, because they are so beautiful and perfect.
